Man, Naruto is a really complicated… Like an ANIME version of Lost, if you don’t watch from beginning you won’t understand. And there are so many questions…. Like who was the founder of Hyuuga Clan, or who excatly is this guy who founded the rinnengan clan. AND WHAT’S THE NAME OF THE RINNENGAN CLAN?

look everybody i’ll clear some things up for you. first it’s so totally clear that madara wants revenge on konoha, he sent the nine tailed fox to destroy the village at the begining of the series right. so knowing what we know now, about the only ones to be able to control the fox are the Senju clan and Uchiha clan, it’s obvious to the leaders of the village that the person who sicked to fox on the village has to be an Uchiha. and with madara hiding in the shadows of akatsuki and being thought to be dead it has to be an Uchiha in the village. it makes since to eliminate anyone who can control the fox right. and who better to do it than an uchiha whom had already declared his growing hatred of his clan. that being said madara is tryin to turn sasuke on the village and insure his survival by not implicating himself in any of it.

Pity about the golden week, I just wanted to add my 2 cents about this whole blood line thing and how tsunade-sama does not show any form of wood techniques. This could be due to the fact that Senju had just mastered the tree element-jistu just like Tsunade masters the healing or strength jistu, it might not be blood line at all but just a mastered technique or way of combat. the eye (Rin’negan sharingan and byakugan) blood line is exceptional as this is known to be passed down or
singular to clans and cant be taught through training, whereas tree-element or healing can be taught to outsiders of the clan.

I don’t think Madara wanted revenge on the leaf village. It’s just why is he telling Sasuke about Itachi and his intentions.

But it was probably because he’s Itachi’s brother and he need’s to know every detail of Itachi. Pretty much it was Konoha’s fault of Itachi’s. Itachi was giving a mission to kill his clan, he did it, Sasuke wanted revenge, 2 1/2 years later Sasuke killed him.

But still I don’t think Madara wanted revenge on Konoha. But still I would guess that Madara would want to destroy Konoha, I just don’t think it’s been revealed yet. That’s all.

skeith, We must to accept that chris has got a point, plus remember that it’s been already declared than no one else but Hashirama, could use wood element, and Tenzou (yamato) is able to use it beacuse oro implanted Hashirama’s cells into him. so that’s all for wood element.

About tsunade, well, remember than sons aren’t ment to seem their parents, just like naruto, he looks like Minato but he fights as Kushina, and it could have been viceverse.

But i think the main question is why Madara wants to take revenge on the leaf?

I mean he said power was everything but he was never after leadership, that was a plus due to his desire for fighting. There’s something that powerful warriors can’t forgive in battle, and that is to be cheated, I think that would be one of the few reasons to make madara go in anger against the leaf.

One word, Genjutsu. The sharingan is active the whole time Tobi is explaining the story to Sasuke. Tobi is the leader of Akatsuki. Tobi is not Madara Uchia, Madara is dead. Tobi wants power. Tobi needs a second eye to create the perfect Mangekyo Sharingan again. Which would explain his high level of degree when distinguishing Amaratsu. It will be interesting to see how Sasuke plays Tobi like he did to his brother.

Yeah ,the whole “clan” thing is a little ambiguious to me, Im sure everyone in the a clan has some of the clans blood, but unless they are incestuous, they have kids with people eoutside the clan. im sure more will be explained later, at least I hope so

Great answer, but here’s where this question poses a problem. Surely bloodlines are spread by, of course, blood. Maybe, Nidaime wasn’t actually the first’s “blood related brother” Come to think of it, maybe Tsunade isn’t a blood relative either. Perhaps, this could have been true, if Tsunade was never born by the first’s biological daughter. Okay, let’s use the Uchiha clan for an example. Mostly everyone in that clan had the traits of black or grey black hair and pale skin. We could tell between them that they have a certain trait. Now compare The First’s and Second’s looks. One has black hair and tan skin while the other had white hair and pale skin, and with Tsunade, pale skin and light blonde hair. It makes no sense, so their has to be a connection.

I’m thinking the whole clan couldn’t use wood techniques, just like all from the uchiha clan dont obtain the sharingan, and those that do obtain it in varing degrees. Maybe the 1st was the only one to obtain wood style, and if not maybe he mastered it to a degree that no one else in the clan had. I would assume that tsunade is part of the clan. I’m sure more light will be revealed on this in the future

Well that’s a very hard question to answer but think of this, his brother didn’t have senjutsu so by default that kind of means that Tsunade is unable to use senjutsu too but Nidaime Hokage was her granduncle so that question is unable to be answered. But don’t worry this question will eventually be answered in future manga.

But, reading this chapter, we have discovered that the first is from the clan of senjutsu, which uses wood style techniques. So, by blood, does Tsunade belong in the same clan?
