Relax, Sasuke is still alive. He just fell from exhaustion, now that it’s finally over for him. Itachi, sadly, stopped breathing, so he’s dead. However, Amaterasu is still burning, and it’s surrounding Itachi’s corpse and Sasuke’s body. Unless Sasuke wakes up

Yes Madara, Itachi is gone. He stopped breathing the moment he fell to the ground. Anonymous, That’s still Sasuke. He’s just grinning because he knows he did it. He knows that Itachi is dead. All of his battles, all of the conflicts and friendships he broke, all for that one sight: seeing his brother down by his feet. Wouldn’t you be happy now that the person that murdered your entire clan and family is dead? After EIGHT long years, Sasuke had achieved his goal, and passes out in relief. The only problem is, he’s surrounded by Amaterasu, that’s still burning everything in it’s path at a slow pace. Hopefully, someone will take him away, like Logan had listed in comment 3, or he’ll burn to a crisp, along with Itachi’s corpse.

Hi everyone,
Well first i use to read the manga in narutofan.com, they never fail to a translation.
However, yeah itachi died (finally), and don’t worry about Sasuke i think is easier to kill naruto than Sasuke for kishimoto. But setsu said Itachi was injured even before the fight, and madara has took naruto’s attacks directly, it makes me think Madara is somehow sending the damage to itachi’s body due to madara knew about itachi’s ambitions, the big question is: what did itachi say before he colapses?
Who is going to save Sasuke from amaterasu flames? suigetsu is playing with kisame but Rin loves sasuke and yugo wants to be healed maybe, just maybe hebi rescues sasuke.(of course they are fu”@#& saving sasuke)

Then again Jiraiya’s pupil, the Amaterasu flames are as hot as the sun. Even if someone tried to jump over them, the intense heat would kill that person before they even land on the ground. Plus, no matter what, the flames will continue to burn for at least another six days, unless you had sealing scrolls like Jiraiya had in part one, when Itachi used Amaterasu to escape his Toad Mouth Trap jutsu. So, since Jiraiya is pronounced dead, no one that we know of pocesses that item.

For kishimoto is easier to kill naruto than sasuke and (it hurts but is true), so I bet kishimoto will show a way to save sasuke.

Thats not true!
Even if people like sasuke more than naruto he can’t just kill the main character.
He build the entire story around Naruto so I don’t really believe he can just kill him…

by tha way, Skeith Your comment about Naruto’s healt is very interesting and yes, we can say he’s got a kind of cancer and it lessens his lifespawn i think he is falling ill and healing at the same time.
if he continues using kyubi’s chakra I think he’ll die before becoming hokage. the only hope of life so far, lies on finding kyubis ying chakra or let someone take off kyubi from his body and being brought back to life like gaara (but there’s no one else besides chiyo that can do that).
p.s. I’ve red many people saying setsu has been avoiding fights like a coward, but I bet he will be quite something when the time to fight finally come to him. he said pain took a long time to kill ero sannin, we have seen most of akatsuki members use to brag about their power but we have also seen they have good reasons to do so.

Yeah Logan but have you noticed Kishimoto has lead the story on Sasuke’s resue? I know kishimoto won’t kill the main character but we all know pretty well sasuke is kishimoto’s faorite character, I just said what i said to make clear how dificult is for kishimoto to kill sasuke.
By the way how long the story will go on? well we haven’t seen other kages and i think there’s a war waiting to start between the the leaf and the sand against the other countries.

Maybe you are right, killing sasuke isn’t an easy task.
Its hard killing Sasuke as it is hard to kill Naruto, but I do believe that Sasuke can die and Naruto can’t.
Maybe after Sasuke dies Naruto will go fully kyuubi

My, my. I sure missed a few things when I was gone. I haven’t read any comments of Youkai yet, but he/she will comment soon. Oh, I’m sorry Logan, I didn’t want to leave you out of the drama.
Hmmm. Tobi does have a very unique special ability. He takes the damage head on, but tricks his enemies into thinking that they’ve missed. I wonder if Tobi(Madara), had sensed that Itachi is dead yet. About Sasuke, Masashi Kishimoto did say that Sasuke is the hardest character in the manga/anime to draw, not only in design, but in abilities as well, (examples: different chidori-style jutsus, his curse mark, lion’s barrage, etc.) That’s why we barely see Sasuke anymore in the anime/manga. After his fight with Naruto, he never came back into view until the beginning of Shippuden. Even in Shippuden, he never appeared until Episode 51, which just reccently aired in Japan last week. Yes, it’s going to be difficult to kill either Sasuke or Naruto off the series, but I have a very strong feeling that when Naruto becomes Hokage, that’s when he’ll die.

Not to say that you’re incorrect Logan, but Naruto won’t be able to go fully Kyuubi, since Naruto only has the negative chakra of the beast. Like I’ve posted in a previous comment, if Naruto were to transform into all nine tails, the power would be corupted and unstable, killing Naruto and the Kyuubi simutaneously. This the reason why the positive chakra even exsists, since it cancels out with the negative chakra, providing a balance inside the Kyuubi.

hey guys, just letting yall know i’m still around, so the yang chakra for the kyuubi is in the long toad that jiraiya released before he fought pein/pain right? and i think the manga said something about jiraiya sending that toad to Naruto(correct me if i’m wrong) and it mention something about hiding a key on the safe or something like that. can u plz clarify that for me?

Nehru, you’re on the right track, but the information is a bit off. The positive chakra is hidden, and no one knows where it is.(except for Gamabunta maybe.) Jiraiya was explaining to the toad that Naruto is the “key” and must be protected, since of course, Naruto has the Kyuubi.

Skeith makes a point there was a key that could hold some secrets to whats going on. Now the “key” that you are refering to is acutally akey that weakens the seal of the fourth. Thats why back at the beginning of part 2 right before heading to the sand village Jirayia told Naruto not to use that jutsu probably refering to that key. Now there is also a jutsu that weakens the seal and that is what jutsu he was speaking of. When jirayia was talking about the time he almost died he later mentioned that he used a jutsu that weakened the seal of the 4th and flood naruto with kyuubi chakra. this probably would be linked but if anyone has any other idea, please clarify

i’d like to point out that tobi(madara) is using a certain jutsu that allows to be hit but still avoid the attack. It is almost like he can morph his body at will to attempt to avoid an attack. that or he could be a genjutsu just like what happened with itachi and sasuke. If this is possible tobi(madara) can do some serious genjutsu.

For those of you that think sasuke died well guess what. he probably didn’t. The most plausible cause was from exhaustion and over use of chakra. Now he could die from the surrounding amateratsu , but there is a likeliness they won’t survive.

about sasuke going back to the leaf, well when he finds out that itachi was alredy wounded I bet he will feel so frustrated that he is going to leave konoha to become stronger and beat madara (of course he will take hebi with him) and so here we go again seeing naruto looking for sasuke. (maybe ut was madara who really took down the uchiha clan but irachi told sasuke the whole story we know in order to make sasuke looks for power.

well, since lastly no one else but kisame was beside itachi, i think the injury was done a long time ago,if it were recent, we can think it was done with a special technique, I like to think that before his fight vs sasuke, itachi fought madara, madara won the battle but didn’t kill itachi to keep using him as an akatsuki member.

Yeah, someone should, but I’m sure he/she will post soon enough. So you’re saying, Itachi may have fought Madara already in the past? Hmmm. Then he realized after the battle, he needed to become even stronger for their next encounter, so then he goes for Sasuke. Well, that’s a start, but their must be other reason. Or maybe, Itachi’s injury was his blindness. Perhaps before the battle Zetsu did not know of the true secret of the Mangekyou Sharingan, even though he was listing in to their conversation. After saying that he looked strange and his moves were off, that could have been the effects from his blindness. During the whole fight, Zetsu didn’t even mention Itachi’s eyes that much, or the fact that he was blind. Of course, the coughing of the blood must have been from over use of chakra. Remember in part one, when Jiraiya had encountered Itachi and Kisame? Itachi had used Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu in that hallway, and after their escape, he was completely out of chakra and needed to rest. Now, because Sasuke had caused him to take some risks, Itachi had to use Susano’o, when he was completely drained of chakra. It has always been a natural shinobi rule. Like Kakashi told Sasuke about overuse of jutsu. If you try to forcibly use a jutsu, it either won’t come out right, or your chakra is reduced PERMENATLY to zero, or bascially you die. Itachi had took that risk and he paid for it. So now he is no longer with us.

You know what? Does anybody think that Naruto was the whole entire reason for this fight to occur so early? I’ll explain. After Itachi left Sasuke helpless back at the village, he soon joined the Akatsuki Organization and was never seen for about five years. Then, when he was given the mission to kidnap Naruto, he had no idea that his target and Sasuke were best friends. That’s probably why Itachi had encounetred Naruto in the forest, to ask why he cared for his brother so much. He then realized something, and left to search for Sasuke. All along, he had something to tell Sasuke because of what Naruto told him. Naruto has a talent for changing people, but in the never got a chance to tell his little brother what it was.

the bilndness is the most possible factor since itachi was coughing blood after using tsukuyomi and i think it was too soon to say that just by using tsukuyomi Itachi was pushing himself over, if he had blood for using tsukuyomi he had died before use susano’o. besides kishimoto never sets casual elements in the story so, setsu’s coments are there for a special reason.

Ahh, good comment Jiraiya’s pupil, but with Itachi’s chakra use, you are forgetting about Amaterasu. We started to see blood when he began to unleash Amaterasu from his eye. After Sasuke had cleverly dodged it, Itachi had lost his right eye. From the older spolier posted on here, the transcript said that Itachi begins to cough out blood at that moment. Behind Susano’o, Amaterasu takes out a hell of a lot of chakra out of the user. So basically, Itachi was drained, with only a little bit of chakra left to keep his Mangekyou sharingan eye. After Sasuke used Kirin, Itachi had lost both of his eyes, and his chakra was reduced to nothing, but Itachi used Susano’o at that exact same moment.(Big Mistake) That’s when his death was intimate, the moment he used the most powerful doujutsu the regular Mangekyou can offer, when his chakra was gone.

srry,i would have replied sooner but i had other things to do.
Now with what happened to Itachi, He could have recieved previous injury to the use of shringon. If you listen during the earlier series they say that the more u use it the more chakra it eats up. That could have been a cause, or it could have been from the hunt for the tailed-beasts. During the time they looked for the 4 tailed they had quite a fight. There is one final cause that seems pretty far fetdhed but might be right. when itachi said Madara was his teacher he could have recieved a injury from that incredibly intense training.
there are many possible causes. if u have a suggestion please comment.

Guys, I dont think itachi is dead. That would be to easy. notice saskue’s smile at the end. I think Itachi succeded. He never said he would pluck saskue’s out, it was only implied. he just said he was going to take them. And those comments by setsu. they mean something.

Well anonymus, since we’ve seen what itachi showed to sasuke, madara did plucked his rbother’s eyes, i’m sure kishimoto killed itachi to satisfy sasuke’s fans but kishimoto also argued itachi’s dead with the injuries Itachi got before the fight.

lol u guyz are giving me some laughs along with some good info, i’m still here though reading through each and every post. it Would be nice if someone would leave a note for Youkai, he/she has a lot of info and ideas to offer, u guyz give the manga so many possibilities. oh and one question is it possible that Sasuke might become the strongest charachter in the series? i mean if the Kyuubi tells Sasuke that he is from the cursed Uchiha clan and that his eyes and chakra possess more evil than his own. thats some very serious stuff. but then again Naruto i think has the most chakra right? but i think they say he uses it to suppress the kyuubi. small note: i love in the movie (cant remember which one) where Naruto uses 2 rasengans one blue and one red, it looked awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

Yes. I do remember that movie. The blue Rasengan was the original, while the red Rasengan was called Blazing Rasengan. Even though he didn’t say it, The red Rasengan is called that. Jiraiya can also use that jutsu. It’s basically a bonus that Kishimoto added in the oringinal manga. They both use it in Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3, which by the way, is comming out this Friday, in US stores!! In Japan, it was released in May of 2005, and was called Narultimate Hero 3. Now it’s comming to us, THREE YEARS LATER!!!!!!!

Hey guys, Do you think Naruto will learn the Ultimate Rasengan on his own? After seeing Jiraiya use it on Pein, that could be a very helpful jutsu for Naruto as well. Because it’s so big, this increases Naruto’s chances of actually hitting the opponent accurately, instead of missing most of the time, or hitting a bushin(clone) of his opponent. There’s a faster impact time because the diameter of the Ultimate Rasengan is at least twenty times bigger than the regular Rasengan, so this decreases the time for the opponent to escape from the blast. Also, becasue of it’s massive size, Naruto can hit his opponent without actually getting to the opponent so closely, which is the risky part of the jutsu, since the opponent has time to react and dodge it. Example: During the Tsunade Arc, Naruto’s first attempt to hit Kabuto failed because Kabuto had enough time to see through the attack and avoid getting hit. So, as you can see, learning how to use Ultimate Rasengan might not be a bad idea for Naruto to put in his arsenal.

Well, I think naruto will focus on learning the fully developed form of rasengan since he needs a clone to morph his chrakra into a perfect sphere, such a big rasengan not only needs a masive amount of chakra but a high level chakra control too, so I’m sure he’s going to put his efforts on the rasenshuriken.

*a Summoning. Note from me (Iwa): Shunshin is “chakra accelerated movement”, like Sasuke does, like Gaara did in the chuunin exam. Kuchiyose is summoning, instantaneously teleporting something from one location to another, through the fabric of space-time. Think worm holes – that’s how they do summonings. The Fourth’s Hiraishin no jutsu teleported him to the location he tagged, just as if he himself were a summon. Madara’s moving through space-time without even having to tag the location or perform seals – making his jutsu quicker and more deadly than the Fourth’s, who relied on tags for movement.

why is noone mentioning the white snake that snuck away as a possibility for itachi’s death i think oro is not dead and is taking itachis body just my opinion

maybe hes not dead but in a death like state due to a snake he bite remember when oro was talking to the third and he talked about the white snakes venom way back

That could be a possibility, itachi could have been biten, but oror was taken down by susano’o, maybe itachi wasn’t injured but early biten and paralized because of the venom.
and so, we can see once more sasuke can’t die, since madara is an uchiha he is able to save sasuke from amaterasu flames.
I think it’s boring to make from sharinagn an almost heavenly power.

That seems intresting but yet it is also hard to beleive. Hard to beleive that all of that information would be just blurted out like that. Akatsukis not that stupid.

Hold on guys. I think Itachi was never biten. After Orochimaru left Akatsuki, Itachi and Orochimaru never got close in battle until now. Like Jiraiya’s pupil said, He was taken down by Susano’o, and the snake was burned by Amaterasu.(There is only one snake, not two.) So to me, Orochimaru never got close to Itachi.

I have to agree with my sister on this conflict. In chapter 393, one of the pages showed a white snake escape. Then it showed another scene with a white snake escaping. I believe it was just another scene showing the same exact snake. So that snake was burned by Amaterasu. Yeah, Orochimaru failed at this scene, so he won’t be seen anytime soon. Now about Sasuke’s future. I believe that Tobi and Zetsu will return to the scene from where Sasuke is laying by. Then they take Sasuke, and probably Itachi’s corpse, and leave. Then Tobi might force Sasuke to join the Akatsuki.

well i said the bite its a possibility but its not like oro sent the snake to itachi, I ment before the real fight, maybe during genjutsu, maybe before sasue began to talk to itachi. I mean sasuke was able to perform all of oro’s jutsus, I think it isn’t hard to think the snake was sent by sasuke
but any way, we’ll have to wait until the next chapter (i hope)
